American Sign Language 1 is a beginning course in American Sign Language (ASL). The course will provided insights into deaf cultural values, deaf attitudes and the deaf community. Everyday conversational situations will be practiced. Learn in a natural and direct method through meaningful context, modeling, observation, and participation. This course will emphasize vocabulary development, and historical aspects of the language.
