Beginning Clothing:
 This is the introductory course for students to learn the basic knowledge, skills and practices  required for careers in textiles and apparel. Students will learn about types and weaves of fabrics, appropriate fabric and pattern selection, machine and serger techniques as well as measurement and math as they relate to sewing.
 
Intermediate Clothing:
 Students will continue to build on their skills in this class. Class topics will include the psychological, social and economic needs of the consumer as well as the world of fashion. Students will "recycle" an item of clothing.
 
Advanced Clothing:
 Advanced clothing students will concentrate on the development of textile products and their distribution. Students will learn sewing for profit while completing projects as well as a business plan. All sewing projects will be done to business standards.
