Applied Technology
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Explorations in technology
This course is designed for students interested in advanced technology skills, prototype design, modeling, creative problem-solving, marketing, teamwork, and career research. Applied technology replaces individual multimedia tutorials with team-based problem-solving. The course is structured around student design teams that work on a variety of applied tecnology projects that introduce new engineering and technical principles. Design projects include: Aeronautics, robotices, electronics, R/C control systems, and transportation systems.
